Noisia Rush-Released Their New Album Following Leak on Friday

Dutch drum and bass trio, Noisia, have released their new album Outer Edges nearly two months ahead of schedule after learning this past Friday that it had leaked. Nik Roos, Martijn van Sonderen, and Thijs de Vlieger made it available on their webstore yesterday, saying in a Facebook post that it would be available on all web platforms starting this Friday, August 5.

In the post, the group explained that they are explicitly against platform exclusivity when it comes to sharing music—in other words, if a new song of theirs comes out, they didn't want it to be strictly available to listeners on just one streaming site or app. As such they felt that the existence of the leak meant they had to share the record with everyone else via all the other usual outlets, too.
