His latest effort is providing the visuals for composer Aldo Aréchar’s track “That Will Be The Day.”The video takes place within the geometric world that you’ll be familiar with if you know Mr. Div’s GIFs, but this is no emotionless void where abstraction distances the viewer. Instead, the shapes and forms have a warmth about them—like a radiant sun above a sparkling tessellated sea, or flying squares that shine like a shooting star.As with his GIFs, the visuals have a retro hue about them, something of the early computer animation experiments of John Whitney.
