Good morning, America. Throughout the Olympics, we'll be providing you with morning previews about the action in Rio, with a focus athletes from the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. Here's what to watch for today, August 12, 2016.

The following events will all see medals awarded:

Today is the day we finally see some track and field. We'll have medals in the women's 10,000 meters and the men's 20-kilometer race walk. The women's 10,000 features Emily Infeld, Marielle Hall, and Molly Huddle of the U.S.; Canadians Lanni Marchant and Natasha Wodak; and Mexico's Marisol Romero and Brenda Flores. In the 20-km race walk, Mexico's Julio Cesar Salazar, Ever Palma, and Pedro Daniel Gomez will be competing against Canada's Benjamin Thorne, Evan Dunfee, and Inaki Gomez.

Archery's final event, the men's individual, wraps up today. The two U.S. athletes in the competition, Zach Garrett and Brady Ellison, face one another in the first round.

Today we'll see the Olympics' first boxing finals in the men's light fly weight class. The U.S.'s Nico Miguel Hernandez starts the day in the semifinals.

On the cycling track, Canada's Kate O'Brien and Monique Sullivan start the day in the qualifying round of the women's team sprint. If they do well, we might see them in the medal rounds, which begin at 18:00 local time. The men's team pursuit will also see medals today, although no North American athletes are taking part.

In equestrian, the U.S. team will compete in the team dressage grand prix.

The U.S. men's foil team will compete in the fencing tournament, beginning today in the quarterfinals.

Judo wraps up today with the men's 100-kg tournament and the women's 78-kg tournament. There aren't any North Americans in the men's tournament, but Puerto Rico's Melissa Mojica and Mexico's Vanessa Zambotti will do battle in the women's.

There is some rowing today, but the Rio Olympics website is a mess and I can't figure out who is doing what and when. You're on your own, folks.

In shooting, we've got the men's 50-meter prone rifle event and the women's skeet event. The qualifying round for the men's event is already over. Americans David Higgins and Michael McPhail both failed to qualify. Team USA's Kimberly Rhode and Morgan Craft are competing in the women's skeet qualifiers as I write this.

Swimming's medal rounds in women's 200-meter backstroke, men's 100-meter butterfly, men's 50-meter freestyle, and women's 800-meter freestyle all take place this evening, beginning at 22:03 local time. Team USA's Madeline Dirado and Canada's Hilary Caldwell are in the women's 200-meter backstroke. Americans Katie Ledecky and Leah Smith are in the 800-meter freestyle. Tom Shields will compete against teammate Michael Phelps, who will be going for his one billionth gold medal in the 100-meter butterfly. Lastly, Anthony Ervin and Nathan Adrian will compete in the men's 50-meter freestyle.

We have our first tennis medals today. In the men's doubles bronze medal match, Team USA's Steve Johnson and Jack Sock will play Canada's Daniel Nestor and Vasek Pospisil.

VICE Sports' favorite event, the trampoline, starts today. American Nicole Ahsinger and Canadian Rosannagh MacLennan will both be jumping for gold.

Lastly, in weightlifting, the men are hard at work in the 85-kg event. As of this writing, Canada's Pascal Plamondon, bronze medalist at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, is through his first two lifts. The women's 75-kg competition begins at 12:30 local time. American Jenny Arthur will take part.
