Take solace in the fact that you're likely somewhere warm right now—at the very least from the glow of your phone. Because, as if a snowy late November game in Berlin couldn't be any worse, Hoffenheim defensive midfielder Eugen Polanski found himself on the slippery side of the weather and slopped in a dreary own goal.

The kind of snow out there doesn't seem to be the fluffy pillows of wonderland fantasy, but rather the melt-as-it-hits kind, causing for the most uncomfortable conditions. Being 33 degrees, it's just in that horrific melt spot. Wet enough for Polanski's intended clearance to turn into an immaculately placed header that rolled in off the corner post. Let's just say Polanski was caught… whiffing in a winter blunder land.
