Adam Forkner, LA-based electronic artist known for his White Rainbow project, has been accused of domestic abuse by a former girlfriend.

In a Facebook post, Christine Messersmith wrote that Forkner "repeatedly beat me senseless," detailing an alleged attack in February that "lasted for 15 minutes" and left her with bruises on her arms and legs and a black eye. Messersmith accused Forkner of physically attacking her by "smashing [her] face and body into objects and the floor." Messersmith also uploaded six photos of the reported injuries to Facebook.

In the post, Messersmith went on to say that Forkner has a history of violence against women, naming two other alleged victims of the artist. She also said there had been "several instances" prior to the February attack of physical assault from Forkner that she had been "too afraid to confront."

The post said that Messersmith has pressed charges against Forkner.

Forkner's record label, Leaving Records, announced via Twitter it was dropping Forkner, stating that the label "does not support violence against women."

In light of recent events, we are removing our White Rainbow title world-wide. Leaving Records does not support violence against women.
