The other big one is swimming, which will feature hella finals today. We've got the Men's 200m Butterfly (USA's Michael Phelps), the women's 200m freestyle (USA's Kathleen Ledecky), 200m women's medley (Canada's Sydney Pickrem, USA's Melanie Margalis and USA's Madeline Dirado). The Men's 4x200m medley relay is also today. An American team is in it, but the finals will be preceded by preliminary rounds.

The 25m Women's Pistol shooting tournament features American Enkelejda Shehaj Bekurti (pictured) who represented Albania in her last Olympic outing, at the Atlanta Games 20 years ago. Canada's Lynda Kiejko, winner of the 2015 PanAm games in both 10 meter and 25 meter events, will also compete.

Today also features the semifinals and final rounds of the individual canoe slalom. American Casey Eichfeld will be trying to better his semifinal finish in yesterday's two-person canoe slalom event. Eichfeld took 14th in the single canoe event at the London Games.

In the pool, the women will be competing in the final of the 10 meter synchronized diving. Amelia Cozad and Jessica Parratto will be representing the United States, while Meaghan Benfeito and Roseline Filion form the Canadian duo. They will have to beat the Chinese pair featuring Ruolin Chen, "the country's only athlete to win the gold at the Olympic Games, world championship and world cup. She is a two-time Olympic champion in the 10m individual and the 10m synchronised." Good luck with that!
