Tim Cahill Laces In a Screamer from Distance in Australia Debut

It hits the nether regions of the goal with a precision that anyone would find satisfying from two feet, not to mention 50 yards.

It's the goal you have been waiting for@Tim_Cahill, welcome to the @ALeague! #ThisIsOurCity pic.twitter.com/E8wiGJIGm5

Tim Cahill just came back home to the Australian A-League with Melbourne City FC—after a short stint with China's Hangzhou Greentown—and what a homecoming. At 28 minutes in, Cahill found a loose ball at the end of his stride and struck with full extension, giving life to a ball that would travel nearly half the distance of the field to find net.

The 36-year-old Aussie is no stranger to scoring beautiful goals. Just take a looksee:

But the thing that's beautiful about the one last night is that it doesn't just find some place to go in the net. It hits the nether regions of the goal—a precision that anyone would find satisfying from two feet, not to mention 50 yards. G'day to you, Mr. Cahill.
