Two Youths Succeed at Happy Gilmore - William Tell Trick Shot

"You're either going to strafe me right in the seeds, or take out an eye, and it just doesn't matter because we're young, virile, and it's #trickshottuesday."

Happy Gilmore short game.#trickshottuesday

It's a summer Friday, it's late July, it's hot—it's damn near happy hour. But before you call it a week, take a moment to soak in the beauty of friendship. The trust one young man has in another, the unspoken bond that "there's a really good chance you're either going to strafe me right in the seeds, or take out an eye, and it just doesn't matter because we're young, virile, and it's #trickshottuesday."

Indiana Tech assistant men's golf coach Tom Kocks asked his devoted gullible pal Andy Mauch to join in a little William Tell-esque action at Brookwood Golf Club in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Mauch stands stone-still while Kocks bum-rushes him, wedge in hand, full swinging into one of those wonderfully idiotic stunts young men do. As Kocks told the Golf Channel, "I just felt like hitting a flop shot so I told [my buddy] to stand in front of me and we pulled it off."

The simple elegance of fraternal jackasses. Nicely done, fellas. Miller Time.
