‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ Is Coming Back Pretty, Pretty, Pretty Soon

Will Susie scream insults at Jeff? Will Richard get depressed about a woman he's dating? Will Larry piss any and everybody off?

If you're a fan of Curb Your Enthusiasm, we have some good news: Larry David's cringe-comedy is officially returning to HBO for a ninth season.

The show, which hasn't aired an episode since 2011, has been known to take breaks before—taking hiatuses in 2003, 2006, and 2008. After five years without watching David awkwardly dig himself into trouble while ranting about social customs, fans thought the show might truly be ending.

But today HBO announced the show's return on its official Medium page, with Larry explaining, "In the immortal words of Julius Caesar, 'I left, I did nothing, I returned.'" (Well, maybe not nothing. His Bernie Sanders impressions were the highlight of this year's SNL episodes.)

"We're thrilled that Larry has decided to do a new season of CURB and can't wait to see what he has planned," Casey Bloys, HBO's new head of programming wrote of the revival.

Will Susie scream insults at Jeff? Will Richard get depressed about a woman he's dating? Will Larry piss any and everybody off? While the official return date hasn't been set, HBO will be releasing details as they are confirmed.
