Seb Wildblood’s Mix for Coastal Haze is a Blast of Ocean Breeze to the Face

After launching their new Coastal Cast mix series last month with Urulu, music and event collective turned record label Coastal Haze have returned with their second installment courtesy of CHURCH don Seb Wildblood.

Clocking in at 65 minutes, Wildblood's mix is a dreamy but all-too-brief transport to a cliffside dancefloor at dusk where the only source of air-conditioning is a salty ocean breeze. It's a deep and classy, calming yet dance-y house affair, starting out at a slow burn before picking up in pace with fluttering piano keys, jazzy saxophone, and periodical rousing percussion. The last 15 minutes or so really gets the heart rate going with some classic breaks and hands-in-the-air soul. There's no tracklist, but comments on the mix's SoundCloud page show it contains a Wildbood original, "Wet Summer," and forthcoming material on CHURCH. Listen to it below.

The mix comes after the release of label boss's most recent EP, Jazz Vol. 1, from which THUMP premiered a track, "Seal of Approval." According to his Facebook, Wildblood is set to release a new EP "soon."
