Miguel and Arcade Fire's Win Butler Teamed Up for a Cover of "Hotline Bling"

An unlikely but awesome collaboration.

Well, that was insanity. @okeechobeefest's all-star 'PoWoW' jam session ended with the following playing together onstage: @mumfordandsons, @miguel, @arcadefire's Win Butler, @skrillex, @preshallband, @kamasiwashington, @johnoatesofficial, members of the Meters and @officialsoulive and more. Insane, historic way to close out Saturday at #okeechobeefest. #omf16 #winbutler #miguel #johnoates

Aren't the best collaborations the ones you wouldn't normally expect? Like when you woke up today, were you expecting yourself to be watching the combined talents of Win Butler of Arcade Fire and Miguel of Sex to perform "Hotline Bling" together? Well they did as part of being co-directors of the program PoWoW! A Live Superstar Mashup at Florida's Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival, and from the snippet below it sounded awesome. According to the setlist froml below, the duo also played a variety of other covers, some seeming even weirder than "Hotline Bling." Like, fuck yeah we want to hear Miguel sing "Sympathy for the Devil" and "Rock The Casbah." Hopefully more videos of this set come up.
