Midas Hutch is definitely a product of the 80s and the electro funk vibe of his debut single "The High" makes this fact very clear. The track features London's own R&B artist Bluesy Robinson along with breezy bass lines, buttery smooth keys and soft guitar licks. All of which fit into a tight beautiful groove as he shimmys his vocals inbetween the disco-inflected track.

"Bluey has been one of my favorite R&B vocalists from the UK for some years now." explains Midas Hutch. "I wanted to create something you can listen to in your car, cruising with your boo with the top down. As well as a song you could get down to in the club." Listen to the track below
