St. Ranger is the solo surf rock project from Shawn Harris of The Matches, Maniac, and Fortress Social Club. St. Ranger, and the free-spirit attitude of the project come from the last few years of Harris's life, where he and his wife took to living throughout the country in various places, all in an Airstream trailer. The video completely encapsulates the sound of the project; huge sweeping surf rock riffs in line with classics like Dick Dale or Avengers VI. The riffs and vibes come in full force together to create a kind of displacement sure to make you feel like you too are traveling cross-country, not being held down by anything. It's a video diary cataloguing exactly one year from Harris and his wife (and dog) moving out of L.A, and their journey through America kicking it in the ol' trailer, taking in as many sights possible, living life to its fullest, most beautiful potential.

You can watch the video below, pre-order his full album Leaves L.A. and check out Side A of the record right here.
