Meek Mill Reflects on a Wild Year in His Video for "The Trillest"

"The Trillest" is a flex song but also a moment of questioning whether the riches and notoriety are worth it.

The conversation surrounding Meek Mill has been draining and ridiculous for a while now, and you don't need me to get into why. So I won't. Let's talk about the music. It is good. Here is a video for a highlight off the last Meek Mill album Dreams Worth More Than Money, which, I dare say, will be underrated for the rest of history. "The Trillest" is heavy because it's a flex song but also a moment of questioning whether the riches and notoriety are worth the costs incurred to acquire them. The video pulls together tour footage and candid behind-the-scenes shots, and I can't help but think that this, like yesterday's 4/4 EP, is a stopgap gesture meant to keep his name warm during the court ordered work embargo keeping him on ice til his February parole violation sentencing. Watch "The Trillest" below.
