The Buffalo Bills Are Offering Pay and Free Tickets In Exchange For Shoveling Their Snow

Not a bad deal, if you ignore the fact that they're playing the Browns.

The Buffalo Bills ran into a snow disaster last week after their field machines churned up the rubber pellets that make up the guts of New Era Field. Well, the team has cooked up some cockamamie scheme to prevent things from getting too snowy: hire out a bunch of the Mafia to take over and shovel the shit out of some shit.

The Bills' official blog sent up a request for help early this morning to make sure they had people (over 18 and with "proper working papers"—very Bills, IMO) on the job throughout the day and night, and it honestly doesn't seem like that bad a deal. The organization is willing to pay $10 an hour—$1 an hour more than New York's current minimum wage—and is providing a warming hut and free lunch and dinner. People who shovel for more than four hours get free tickets to the game. Not too shabby.
