Alan Pulido, a Mexican soccer player playing for Olympiakos, was allegedly kidnapped over the weekend, only to escape by shooting one of his captors. It's a wild story in its own right, but there are some rumors out there that the whole thing was some kind of setup, and that he was never kidnapped to begin with. Keep an eye on this one.

Following the end of the Mexican soccer season, Club Tijuana has made its entire roster up for transfer.

A bunch of European teams are announcing their rosters for the Euro Cup today. Germany's does not include Marco Reus, arguably Germany's best player, who is injured. Reus also missed the World Cup because of injury.

Keylor Navas, Real Madrid's Champions League winning goalkeeper, will miss the Copa America with Costa Rica thanks to an Achilles injury.

Bethany Hamilton, a surfer who had her arm bitten off by a shark in 2003, competed as a wild card in last week's stop on the World Surf League. Against the world's best, she took third.
