Police in Paraguay raided the CONMEBOL offices. (CONMEBOL is the governing body of South American soccer). The raids had to do with the U.S. Department of Justice's ongoing FIFA investigation.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was voted African Footballer of the Year. The Gabonese forward, who has scored 18 goals in 17 matches for Dortmund this season, is a player every superclub in Europe is trying to sign. (Link in German.)

Speaking of players everyone wants to sign, Paul Pogba is very good! When I covered last year's Champions League final, in terms of individual skill, he was incredible. He showed that skill again the other day versus Verona. (H/T r/soccer)

Chelsea is trying to cancel Radamel Falcao's loan. It looks like he'll return to Monaco soon. Once one of the most feared striker in world soccer, Falcao hasn't been the same player since injuring his knee three years ago.

It's all coming a bit full circle. Chelsea legend Claude Makelele, who is Monico's new Technical Director, will have to deal with Falcao.

Chelsea players Oscar and Diego Costa reportedly came close to blows in training. A couple Feyenoord players took it a step farther and actually got into it a little bit. Sports!
