The new guy is always the last to know. Watford's stadium Vicarage Road must've been built in medieval times because the thing still has moats. Like with a fucking seven-foot trench surrounding the pitch. And unfortunate for Watford's new guy, Chelsea loanee Nathan Aké, no one seems to have told him that running over the end line means certain doom.

In today's matchup between Watford and Bournemouth—which ended drearily in a 0-0 tie—Aké built a head of steam running past the end line, hurdled the advertisements, only to find out that there was a sizable drop into an infinite abyss. (He eventually walked away uninjured.) It's not unlike Bill and Ted, except Aké didn't have a buddy to play 20 questions with:

Aké is likely aching to get back to Stamford Bridge, where the end lines mean the end of your life. Danger.
