Fox Keeps Photoshopping Sam Bradford's Head onto Other Vikings Quarterbacks

Sam Bradford can't catch a break. The Vikings started out 5-0 and looked to all the world like a legitimate Super Bowl Contender, which was quite the accomplishment for a team scrambling to replace Adrian Peterson and Teddy Bridgewater with an injury-prone quarterback whose career record as a starter currently sits at 30-41-1. He's played pretty well this season, as it happens, throwing 11 TDS against only two interceptions, while averaging 7.1 yards per completion and hitting throws at a very nice 69.6 percent clip.

Unfortunately for Bradford, the Vikings have also now lost four in a row, including one to inner-division rivals the Chicago Bears, who are in the incapable hands of Jay Cutler. What looked like an impossible dream season may well crash and burn before Thanksgiving.

Bradford's hit a patch of hard luck lately, but that is absolutely no reason to turn him into Matt Cassel. Like, literally, or anyway whatever passes for literally on the internet. Yes, for at least the second time this season, FOX has superimposed Bradford's head onto another quarterback's body.

In Week 7, Sam Bradford's part-Cherokee Indian head was placed atop Bridgewater's African-American body, because basic television graphics are complex.

Even though there are nine pages of Sam Bradford Vikings pictures on USAToday's wire service—that wire is where they got the 2013 Cassell picture—FOX doubled down this week and placed Sam's dome onto the body of Matt Cassel, a quarterback who is 1) closer in skin tone than Bridgewater, but 2) is much worse at playing football than Bradford. Most salient, again, is that Matt Cassel is in no way Sam Bradford, the widely photographed quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings.

C'mon FOX, can't we at least show Sam Bradford some respect and paste his grill on Frank Tarkenton?
