Check Out Miami FC's Incredible Volleyed Golazo Off a Half-Field Pass

Miami FC's game ended in a 2-2 draw against the Tampa Bay Rowdies, but that was certainly a 10/10, if you ask me.

Miami FC is a burgeoning little NASL team that started last year, and probably would be promoted to MLS if we believed in those kinds of things. Instead, Miami FC is just a litmus test about whether or not an MLS team would be a viable venture in the same city (cough* Beckham *cough). Well, if Miami is doing good work to promote themselves because good goddamn, is this a pretty, pretty goal.

Miami's Jaime Chavez was on the receiving end of a cross-field pass from nearly the half-field line. But instead of waiting to take a patient touch that might roll the ball into the keeper's clutches, he just rockets a shot off, lighting up the left siding of the net like the top bar of a carnival sledgehammer game. It takes so much control to anticipate the rotation of the ball when it's coming in from such distance like that. Miami FC's game ended in a 2-2 draw against the Tampa Bay Rowdies, but that was certainly a 10/10, if you ask me.
