Plus, more things to do to kill time before you break your fast.
Collage by Ian Junius

Looking for some stuff to catch up on this weekend? Whether it's TV, movies, books, or anything in between—VICE has you covered. Read on for our staff recommendations on what to take in during your downtime:

HANG OUT IN YAYOI KUSAMA'S INFINITY MIRRORS ROOMS

Did you stop yourself from buying plane tickets to see Yayoi Kusama's infinity mirror rooms abroad last year? Good. You just saved yourself a lot of money. Those have finally arrived in Indonesia, at MACAN Museum in West Jakarta to be exact. The 89-year old Japanese contemporary artist has made a name for herself for creating work that touches on feminism, minimalism, and surrealism and yes, the exhibition, which lasts until September 9 is so much more than one big photo op! —Ananda Badudu

CATCH A DYSTOPIAN "SECRET" FILM SCREENING AT PAVILIUN 28

It’s not actually a secret anymore since Paviliun 28 announced on Instagram the movies they're screening. In the spirit of their theme Totalitarian Society, the organizers are recommending guests to read Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World and of course, George Orwell’s 1984 before coming to the screening if they haven't. There will be a discussion after that, and considering the state of our almost fully surveilled world, the theme is more relevant than before. See you this Saturday afternoon, folks. —Yudhistira Agato

ENJOY A LOT OF ART AT A YOGYAKARTA FESTIVAL

The annual contemporary art affair, Art Jog is open for public once again, this time boasting the theme "Enlightenment." The exhibition lasts for a month until June 4 at the Jogja National Museum, so you have a couple more weeks. For Rp 50,000 (less than $4 USD), you can experience the works of 54 different artists, from painting, sculptures to installations. Check out their Instagram account to make sure you don’t miss special events that they do daily. —Ananda Badudu

READ SOUTH AMERICAN MINI FICTION

Generally, Indonesians know very little about South America. For years, all we know is telenovelas, Latin songs that happened to break into Top 40 Charts (including the dreadful "Despacito"), plus some literary giants such as Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Jorge Luis Borges, or Octavio Paz. But did you know that South America is the epicenter of short fictional stories?

Thankfully we have Ronny Agustinus, who for the past decade, has been single-handedly promoting stories from South America through his publishing company Marjin Kiri. Recently he published Ana Maria Shua’s Pemburu Aksara (or Cazadores de letras), which is a great reminder of how powerful 300-word stories can be. Filled with bizarre story-telling, blurry conventions of poems, as well as ideas that take you to a different world, this book is the perfect weekend companion. —Ardyan Erlangga

BINGE WATCH THE NEW SEASON OF "WESTWORLD"

The second season of Westworld has been airing since April, but there have been only four episodes out, so while you're waiting to break your fast this weekend, catch up with the madness of this western sci-fi series! The first season’s season finale left so many questions and cliffhangers that the HBO series probably won’t answer anytime soon. Did Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) really shot Ford (Anthony Hopkins) and end the fate of Westworld fantasy amusement park? Will the androids break out into the real world and mingle or even plan to take revenge on the humans? Let’s grab some popcorn and start binge-watching. —Yudhistira Agato
