Bulls Announcer Stacey King Absolutely Butchers Giannis Antetokounmpo's Name

NBA preseason is a time for everybody to shake off the rust, whether you're a player or a broadcaster. The Chicago Bulls played their preseason opener on Monday night, and color man Stacey King wasted no time showing the audience just how rusty one can get over a long summer, whiffing on the name "Giannis Antetokounmpo" by a country mile.

They're long, they're athletic, they're versatile, and they're led by Giannis…What the hell is he even saying here? Anna Karambo? Arugula Gumbo?

We get it, Mr. King: It's a hard name to pronounce. But consider some of these mitigating circumstances:

• Giannis Antentokounmpo is entering his fourth year in the league.
• He has yet to make an All-Star team, but he is an extremely popular, well-known player.
• As the Bulls' closest geographical rival, Milwaukee plays Chicago all the time—preseason, regular season, and even the 2015 postseason.
• Pronouncing these names is kind of your job.

Stacey King is on Twitter, so perhaps it's time he follows Giannis. The Bucks forward has been known to give out pronunciation lessons from time to time:
