The first day at Coachella I lurking on idiotic kids and feeling sober, bored, and misanthropic. I wanted to name the story, "I fucking hate everyone at Coachella". But then I had a journalistic epiphany…to capture the true essence of Coachella partying, I needed to be one with the party. So I took acid (for the first time, btw), and the resulting photos are moments I captured while tripping the rest of the weekend. I also made some voice notes on my phone as I shot, which I may include as some photo captions.

Here are the photos…be thankful that I excluded the 500 or so I took of a disco ball, because I thought it was 'just soooo beautiful' at the time:
