Take a Train Ride Through Japan with This New Video From Efdemin

Next stop: hazy audio goodness from the German techno fixture.

After three years of extensive touring as a DJ, Phillip Sollmann took the chance to compose his third album under his Efdemin moniker while spending three months as part of an artist residency in Kyoto, Japan. He immersed himself in nature, surrounded by temples, shrines and an endless aray of picturesque blue mountains, all of which acted as inspiration to the organic and hypnotic nature of his music.

The video we have here is set to one of the album's standout tracks "The Meadow." The sparse, melancholy composition is brilliantly complimented by the visuals element taking place—a slow and steady train ride thourgh the scenic streets of Kyoto, Osaka and Wakayama. Filmed by Sollmann himself, in addition to Hanna Schwarz, this video is as much therapeutic as it is musically stimulating. Hit play and lets yourself slowly unwind.
