Listen To A Banging Remix Of Katy B's New Track, 'Crying For No Reason'

Rinse FM's rising star gets a sick remix treatment from Tom Shorterz

Katy B's back!

Well, not that she ever went away, but it's great to know that there's a new album expected from the Mercury Prize-nominated, south London singer, who's steadily been releasing some of the best garage-inflected pop, well, ever to be honest. Having killed it with crossover hits like 'On A Mission' and the Ms. Dynamite collaboration 'Lights On', she's shaping up to raise the bar of dance-inflected pop music in the UK with a stellar album production name-check; aside from long-term mentor and producer-in-chief Geeneus, there's credits from the likes of George FitzGerald, Jacques Greene, Joker, Route 94 and Artwork, so it's sure to be stacked with bangers.

Katy B's Little Red is out on February 10th through Columbia Records/Rinse but, in the meantime, here's a stream of the brand new Tom Shorterz remix of album cut 'Crying For No Reason'. With dancefloor-ready pads and a piano breakdown, it'll have even the most cynical of clubbers grinning from ear to ear.

Katy also plays The Roundhouse, London, on October 23rd.
