Win an Xbox One and Tasty ‘Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5’ Swag

We have things to give away, so come and win them.
October 6, 2015, 11:57am

You know what's good? Microsoft's Xbox One console. It plays games. It streams movies. You can speak to it and it doesn't answer back all full of snark. It can't fry you an egg, but if you turn it upright and leave it powered up for a while, it'll probably get hot enough to lightly melt a marshmallow. Pro-tip: do not turn an Xbox One on its side. You will break it.

And a free Xbox One is even better than one you have to pay for with real money, isn't it? Obviously, it is. And right here, VICE Gaming is giving you, assuming you live in the UK, the chance to win one. And there's more: the lucky winner of the console will also receive a copy of the newly released Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5, the return of the iconic skate-sim series, and a Birdhouse deck signed by the legendary skateboarder himself. Tony Hawk, that is. In case I wasn't clear.

Five runners-up can claim a copy of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 , developed by Robomodo and published by Activision, on Xbox One. The game features a build-your-own-park mode, where the fruits of your leap-and-grind creativity can be shared with other players over this internet thing, and customisable skaters: the more achievements you nail, the more stat perks you unlock for your boarder of choice (of which there are several to choose from). It also features massive balls. You'll see, you'll see.

You've got to be in it to win it, though, so use the widget below to enter and we'll draw a winner – plus five runners-up – on October 16th. Please note the full terms and conditions here.

Some important information: this is open to UK residents only, and all applicants must be aged 18 or more on the date of entry. Entering this competition means that you agree with the full terms and conditions (so read them). If you work for VICE, jog on mate, nothing for you to enter here, and that applies to your wife and/or brother, too. Winners will be drawn at random. We won't send you cash, a fully loaded Oyster Card, a life-size cardboard cutout of Joel Golby or a year's supply of pet food as a substitute prize. Seriously, do not stand the Xbox One on its side like you did the 360 as it is liable to explode. Again, if you live somewhere that is not the UK, stop right now. The word "swag" is in the headline because it's in the game, right, there are all these boxes of "swag" and you smash through them, see? Good luck.
