See Empress Of, Banoffee, Oscar Key Sung, and Charles Murdoch at the Sydney Opera House

You're invited to Sound + Vision, where musicians collaborate with artists Nonotak, Prue Stent, and Tin & Ed on stage.

Banoffee

Usually we throw parties in a pub or a club. Sometimes there's a disco ball, other times (every time) there's a lot of beer. This one's a bit different. One of our new year's resolutions was to be better versions of ourselves (total lie), so we've upped the game. This time we're putting on an event in collaboration with Samsung at the Sydney Opera House.

Called Sound + Vision, it will be a one-night showcase of music, art, and, technology, taking place in the Opera House's Concert Hall on Sunday January 31.

We've partnered some of our favourite emerging musicians with some of our favourite artists, who will collaborate on a trio of performances.

Empress Of

Empress Of (US) will play her only Sydney show and will team up with Paris-based design studio Nonotak, known for their otherworldly installations.

Heavenly goddess Banoffee and longtime collaborator Oscar Key Sung will be accompanied by Prue Stent's photo-realist visuals.

Charles Murdoch

After opening for Flume and Ta-Ku at MoMA PS1 and playing a string of US shows, Charles Murdoch will join forces with the official masters of fun, creative duo Tin & Ed.

New media artist Joe Crossley will use motion sensors, midi triggers, and audio manipulation to weave together the audio and visual elements, resulting in different and immersive shows for each set.
