SOPHIE's been steadily dropping singles off of his debut LP, Product, which—in case you've forgotten—will be available as a special edition box set that comes with a double-pronged dildo. It's all part of some lofty concept that has to do with capitalism or marketing or authenticity or something clever like that. Anyways, the newest single off of Product landed today, and it sees SOPHIE heading in quite a different direction from his usual over-caffeinated pop songwriting. While you can still hear the producer's hand in the song's twinkly melodic breakdowns, "L.O.V.E." is going to confuse a lot of fans who are looking for the usual sugar-sweet sing-along anthem.
