Chris Paul Freezes Sixers Defender With Fake-Pass Dribble

Chris Paul uses a fake pass dribble to freeze a defender and drive to the rim for an easy layup.

Near the end of the first quarter against the Sixers, Chris Paul totally froze Luc Mbah a Moute by feinting a bounce pass to Big Baby Glen Davis, who was curling down the lane. Paul's hand motion and head telegraphed the pass, but the spin he put on the ball meant there was never going to be a pass and it just went right back to him, like it was on a string. It took a few seconds for the synapses to start firing for Mbah a Moute and before he figured out what happened Paul was already gone.

We're seeing a lot more of this recently, most notably from John Wall, and we're all for it. It's devastating and confuses the broadcasters, which is an added bonus.
