Evan Fournier Trolled the Raptors, and So Did the Cavaliers

Rough night, Toronto.

Hours after nothing-better-to-do Toronto mayor John Tory wrote a letter to CBS Sports (no, seriously) complaining about the Raptors being left off an online poll that asked fans who would win the NBA championship, Canada's only NBA team was trolled over and over again on Tuesday.

The clowning first started when Cleveland showed Canadian celebrities decked out in Cavs gear on the arena's videoboard ahead of tip-off.

There was also a clip of Canadian actors Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams rocking Cavaliers swag. The trolling was all fun and games… that's until Orlando's Evan Fournier started bucking shots with his Twitter fingers.

The Raptors have 0 chance to win a single game man. Sorry

The responses were predictable: you suck, your team is shit, and you're watching from home. All correct, to some degree, but Fournier is probably right. Toronto doesn't stand much of a chance in this series.

The Raptors went on to hang tough with the Cavaliers—for one quarter—until the final troll job of the night: the score. The Raptors were steamrolled by LeBron James and the Cavs, losing Game 1 of their Eastern Conference finals matchup, 115-84. Toronto has lost eight consecutive Game 1s and fell to 1-10 all time. No NBA franchise has a worse Game 1 winning percentage.
