It seems that on every street corner in New York City and LA, another poke shop is opening each and every week—but amid the mainland's frenzy to cash in on the latest trend, just how often have you seen a poke made without any seafood?

Luckily, Action Bronson is here to save the day with a little Hawaiian action of his own. Mr. Wonderful decided that a bit of fresh air was needed, so he put together this recipe for a refreshingly veggie-forward golden beet poke. The roasted golden beets add a lightly sweet alternative not found in your typical poke, and the combination of ginger, lime juice, cilantro, and soy sauce offer a nod to poke'sAsian-influenced origin story.
