Markets Plummets After Brexit Vote
After the UK voted on Thursday to leave the European Union, markets around the world reacted by taking a nosedive, with the Dow and S&P both falling dramatically. The pound plummeted as well, at one point hitting a low of $1.3224. This sudden drop did not indicate that the global economy was in crisis, however. "I think investors mispriced the risk and quickly repriced it," one anaylst said. "That's what we're seeing now, the repricing of risk with heightened uncertainty."–CNBC

Clinton Promises to Pick Up Immigration Reform
Hillary Clinton pledged to introduce a comprehensive immigration reform bill within her first 100 days in office. On Thursday, the Supreme Court announced a 4-4 split on whether President Barack Obama's executive action to provide work permits to millions of undocumented immigrants was legal—a ruling that effectively meant Obama's reform was blocked. –WashingtonPost

No Evidence Mateen Had Gay Lovers, Says FBI
The FBI has found no evidence that Orlando shooter Omar Mateen had gay lovers or used gay dating apps, even though many men have claimed to have interacted with him on such apps and one man said he Mateen's lover. Hundreds Evacuated in Fresh California Wildfire
A new wildfire destroyed between 50 to 60 homes and forced hundreds of people to evacuate from rural communities in Central California. Firefighters struggled to tackle the so-called Erskine Fire as it burned across five square miles northeast of Bakersfield throughout Thursday afternoon and into the evening. – Los Angeles Times

PM Cameron Quits After Britain Chooses Brexit
UK Prime Minister David Cameron has announced he will resign by October after nearly 52 percent of British voters opted to leave the EU. Cameron had urged voters to keep Britain in the EU. The Netherlands' far-right leader Geert Wilders and France's National Front leader Marine Le Pen have now called for their countries to hold similar votes on EU membership. –Reuters

Colombians Celebrate Historic Peace Deal
The Colombian government and the FARC rebel movement have signed a ceasefire agreement in Havana, bringing 50 years of civil war to an official end. Tornado and Storms Kills Almost 100 in China
At least 98 people have been killed and around 800 others injured in a hail storm and tornado that swept across eastern China's Jiangsu province. The authorities in the Democratic Republic of Congo have arrested 75 suspected militiamen over a series of murders and the mass rape of children.
