Before Breath of the Wild stole our adventuring hearts, the robot dinosaurs—and surprisingly affecting storytelling—of Horizon: Zero Dawn dominated many a Waypoint staffer's late winter. So, I'm pleased to see that the Frozen Wilds DLC actually has a release date: November 7th.

According to the official Playstation blog, the new DLC is:

"Set in icy territories to the north, this new chapter of Aloy's journey adds a new area to explore, new mysteries to uncover and new, highly lethal machines to take on."

I'm personally excited to check out the new territory, and see how the mechanical nightmare-animals have adapted to an icy environment. Will they have… robotic fur? Is that a thing?

We'll find out in November. Until then, there are plenty of pretty pictures on the game's pre-order site.
