Good morning, America. It's May 17th, 2016. Welcome to the VICE Sports World News Roundup. I was on a reporting trip for the last week, but I'm back now, so be sure to stop every morning for more headlines from around the world.

Most of Europe's top soccer division seasons have ended. The Premier League should be over, except there was a bomb scare at Manchester United over the weekend, so United plays Bournemouth tonight instead.

With club soccer over, teams are into preparations for the European Championship and Copa America. So around the world, managers are picking their squads. Spain announced it's team today. It includes neither Diego Costa nor Juan Mata.

The United States announced its 40-player preliminary roster at the beginning of May. Jozy Altidore was on that list, but will miss the tournament with a hamstring injury he suffered over the weekend.

The English FA handed Chelsea and Tottenham pretty substantial fines for their fight in the third to last match of their seasons: 375,000 pounds and 225,000 pounds, respectively.
