Watch This Dog Audition for a Spot in the Raptors' Lineup

Crusoe the Celebrity Dachshund would be a perfect fit in a small-ball lineup.

It's no secret over here that we're fans of dogs playing sports, so here's a post about a dog playing sports. Not just any dog—world-famous canine Crusoe the Celebrity Dachshund. You might remember the two-sport athlete from a recent video of him playing hockey in hopes of getting the Maple Leafs to think twice about selecting Auston Matthews with the first overall pick in next month's draft.

The kid has game. In his latest showcase video that's sure to get the attention of scouts, he proved he can ball.

Now comes the big question after seeing his energy and hops: If you're Dwane Casey and the Raptors, after struggling to down the Pacers and losing another Game 1 at home to the Heat, do you call an audible and look to work the Canadian native Crusoe into the rotation? There's really nothing to lose. You need someone to stop Dwyane Wade? Don't overthink it.

Crusoe looks like he'd be the perfect fit in a small-ball lineup and give the Raptors a strong perimeter defender with his quickness and active hands paws.
