IMS Engage Isn’t Your Typical Conference

This year we were invited to attend IMS Engage for it's first time in the USA. Right from the start we knew this would be a great experience, what professional conference starts with a warm welcome from Pete Tong, and moves on to a casual conversation with Skrillex and an EDM fight? Throw Russell Simmons in there along with a bunch of afterparties and you've got yourself quite the weekend.

Unfortunately we cannot replay any fights or parties but the good news is we have a lot of the actual conference on video, including a live performance from computer scientist Jaron Lanier. Him and Beatport CEO Matthew Adell are both qualified for several dance music PHDs. Watch and learn.
