Vote For Next Week's 'Breath of the Wild' Permadeath Difficulty Modifier Right Here

How far can Austin get without the ability to fast travel freely or choose which weapon he wants to use?

Permadeath is a new video series from Waypoint in which we attempt to beat a game with a limited number of lives, even in games that don't traditionally have "lives."

In our first entry to the series, we're trying to get as far as we can into The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild before we die three times. Because we hate ourselves, on top of this already difficult challenge we're also adding ADDITIONAL difficulty modifiers for every week that we survive.

After week one, you voted to remove my ability to fast-travel away from danger, which makes hard fights and tough climbs that much scarier. Then, after week two, you voted to prevent me from accessing the weapon menu until my current weapon breaks or is thrown away.

In week three, we head to Hateno village, face our first Blood Moon, and (over)commit to a one-on-one duel on some snowy peaks.
