According to The Trussell Trust, this is the fifth year in a row that food bank usage has risen, and the biggest annual increase in five years.

Trump's commerce secretary also said that workers calling in sick need to just suck it up, because they will eventually get paid.
“Your party's policies have caused the need for food banks in the first place.”
For those on low incomes or in unstable employment, buying a mountain of food for the Christmas break in one December shop simply isn’t an option.
