VICE catches up with Cody Hudson as he goes dumpster diving for his next art installation. Cody has an eye for scraps, and his latest obsession involves assembling and painting discarded wood; the result is modern yet organic eye candy. He began as a graphic designer but has since experimented with nearly every medium, from painting, to illustration, sculpture, and digital graphics. Cody’s work has been featured in galleries around the world and he is also the founder of Struggle Inc., a Chicago-based commercial art house.
