We recently shared AugTopia, the augmented reality action figures, with you. Like a few other cool innovations (like Pac Manhattan, pictured above), it’s a project that comes from NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program. And guess what? You can see AugTopia and many other amazing innovations at ITP’s Spring Show. It’s taking place May 9-10. And it’s free and open to the public.
Dennis Crowley, the co-founder of Foursquare, is an ITP alum and describes the program as “art school for engineers and engineering school for artists.” From that description, it sounds as if this upcoming show is right up our alley. Which explains why we’ve already covered the ITP winter show. On video. Above. So now you have proof that this is going to be epic.
