The Nixon JibFest

So why bring The Nixon Jibfest back after giving it a break for eight years? To bring back the killer vibes of the original years, duh. We get some nostalgic stories from JP Walker, Chris “Gunny” Gunnarson, and Andy Wright about why the first years of the Jibfest were so special and what features were modified for 2011. The circle rail circumference was made bigger and the S-rail had another section welded onto it, so now it’s kind of like a lazy W-rail, keeping the aesthetic of the past intact while progressing forward. Pro snowboarding legend Brian Thein was also flown in to keep it classic. He straps in and rides with the rest of the crew like no time had passed at all since the last Jibfest. JP tells us what the heck that slippery stuff on the fun boxes and ledges is made out of and how “Gunny” was responsible for finding the material and making all their fun box dreams come true. Oh yeah, and there’s a bunch of pro snowboarders snowboarding in this part.
