Jay Wu is the Media Relations Manager for the NCTE. Prior to NCTE, they worked with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services as a press assistant focused on the Affordable Care Act. A former NCTE policy intern, Jay holds a degree in linguistics, with minors in English literature and gender & sexuality studies, from Swarthmore College. They have keen interests in language change, outer space, surrealist humor, critical theory, writing poetry, and attempting to replicate their mom’s cooking.
