In a new series, with direction from Ed Lachman, we’re taking a look at the collaborators behind Random Access Memories, the new album from Daft Punk.
In Episode 5 we speak with Noah Lennox, aka Panda Bear from Animal Collective, a band who recently released their latest record Centipede Hz (which The Creators Project helped document).
We were really excited to interview Lennox as part of The Collaborators series and find out about his experience working with Daft Punk and his own relationship to their music. He recalls the first time he heard their music late one night on MTV when he caught the Michel Gondry-directed music video for “Around The World” and was struck by the images and sounds emanating from the screen.
