I’ve always wondered whether it’s just my ears and slightly warped brain, or does Tame Impala lead singer Kevin Parker sound like John Lennon for the internet age? I’d like to believe so.
The band have just dropped the official video for “Elephant” and it’s clear that they’ve got their visual aesthetics still firmly in check. The end result is an acid-tinged kaleidoscope of polychromatic hues and swirls of luminosity providing the ideal backdrop to analog synthesized footage of the band performing.
