SNL better realize exactly how lucky they are to continue their loose affiliation with Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone’s hip-hop act the Lonely Island. This January, when the trio released “YOLO” as a digital short, it charted at number 60 on the Billboard Hot 100. Not too bad for a comedy rap band.
Today we’re proud (and a little surprised, frankly) to present to you a “YOLO” remix by their longtime friend Sam F. This is going to be available as a B-side to the limited-edition “YOLO” seven-inch, which is coming out on Record Store Day on yellow vinyl. There are only 3,000 copies being made, so buy it.
