Who better to be the first chef in Munchies from our nation’s capital than a guy with a Slayer sticker on his sausage grinder? Kyle Bailey is the chef at Birch & Barley, one of DC’s best restaurants. He works alongside his wife, Tiffany MacIsaac, who’s also the genius behind the restaurant’s innovative desserts and pastries. Birch & Barley is also known for having one of the country’s most comprehensive beer lists, which is overseen by Greg Engert. Kyle brought Tiffany and Greg out on the town to show us two of his favourite spots. First was Radius Pizza, where chef Todd Wiss cooked up a lot more than pizza, and then it was on to the cocktail bar Room 11 to make sure Kyle was properly snackered before he had to cook for us again.
