Sam Thompson Monster Dunk Off Inbound Play

Ooooooh man, this was nasty. Halfway through the second half against Morehead State, Ohio State’s Sam Thompson went flying for a gigantic alley-oop dunk off an inbound play under the hoop. Thompson slipped behind Brent Arrington and the rest of the Morehead defenders were either watching the ball or had their backs to him as he slashed to the hoop for an easy finish. 

The Eagles made it interesting, but the Buckeyes proved to be too much and OSU won 87-71. Thompson finished with 15 points on the day, and one emphatic highlight. Also, don’t sleep on the reaction from the Ohio State bench, it’s almost as entertaining as the dunk itself. Keep it together guys, no one on the court!
