Just like the kid said who passed you your first joint in junior high, when it comes to the live streaming of music festivals—everybody’s doing it. Chicago’s first big summer music fest, Spring Awakening, takes place this weekend, June 12-14 at Soldier Field. While SAMF is the latest mega-party to jump on the live stream bandwagon, having just announced that its event will appear on Twitch this weekend.
Tune to the official Twitch channel to catch the action
Kicking of on Friday, June 12 at 5 PM central time, the stream will showcase sets from some of the festival’s biggest names—main stage regulars like Tiësto, Hardwell, and Afrojack, who unfortunately will not be performing under the name Dutch House Mafia. Other artists pegged to hit the small screen are Jack Ü, Oliver Heldens, andMorgan Page (whose new album is out this week). Headhunterz will also be there, if you like hardstyle and DJs who have nice smiles.
