All of Christopher Nolan’s Movies Are Missing Something

Christopher Nolan is the cinematic king of following hereos in high action. His films are notorious for their intensive plots, darkly romantic themes, and mind-destroying twist endings. Editor Miguel Branco pays homage to Nolan’s body of work which has gripped audiences for 18 years.

Nolan’s works relate to each other in ways that most other action movies don’t. They’re cerebral, multi-layered, and often more emotional than viewers bargain for. Branco tells The Creator’s Project that he wanted to find “the relationship, or the least common denominator so to speak, throughout his films.” What Branco finds is several stories of “lack or loss of something, in one way or another.”
