
Bun and ground beef—these are the two main components of the burger. It’s a perfect food, and not to be fucked with.
But once in a while these fundamental components of American greatness can be substituted with analogous but equally delicious ingredients. Behold our take on the burger’s lesser-known but equally amazing relative: the patty melt.

Whip out the rye and your best knife, because this isn’t your run-of-the-mill patty melt. The beef is hand-cut, and we even threw some béchamel and caramelized onions in there, because why not?
